UKATA (United Kingdom Association for Transactional Analysis)
UKATA is the home for all Transactional Analysis Registered Training Establishments (RTE’s) in the United Kingdom, ensuring high standards of quality in training for TA trainees.

Our Counselling & Psychotherapy trainees are required to become members of UKATA during their studies, and to abide by the UKATA Code of Ethics.
As of 2023, UKATA will be facilitating our Psychotherapy graduates to becomes members of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)
COSCA (Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland)
COSCA promote quality assurance and ethical standards for counselling, psychotherapy, counselling skills and supervision of practice in Scotland.

COSCA currently accredit two of our existing programmes:

Students awarded the Diploma in Counselling using Transactional Analysis are able to apply for individual membership with British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Students awarded the COSCA Diploma in Counselling Supervision are then qualified to deliver supervision to other counsellors.
Physis Scotland work closely with COSCA to ensure, develop and evaluate standards of training and practice.
NCPS (National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society)
The NCPS recognise Physis Scotland’s Diploma in Counselling Supervision as an Advanced Specialist course, meeting a high standard of quality in criteria, teaching and assessment standards.
